Jealousy

Jealousy started her aerial journey in 2021 after dabbling in handbalancing and being in the partner dancing scene where she did west and east coast swing, blues, fusion, and several Latin dances since 2015. Unlike many others she has a bachelors in zoology and then decided to run away to the circus!

A life long dream of circus arts became reality when she immediately joined a performing troupe and won an award for hoop in her first year. Some of her favorite events to perform for have been Summerfest and the Midsummer Rennaissance Faire.

Her heart belongs to the aerial sling but she loves performing on dance trapeze, hoop, and baby hoop! She enjoys giving a dramatic and dynamic performance and looks for the feeling of dancing in the air with her apparatus being her partner. Since her start she is now an owner of Wings Circus, performs throughout the pacific northwest, and teaches others to share her love for aerial.

Myles Hochman

Myles Hochman (they/he) is a multidisciplinary aerialist, with a special love for aerial hoop. They began their circus arts journey after college in 2014, when trying aerial hoop for the first time expanded their life beyond being “a brain in a jar.” Since then, they have worked to hone their technical skills and artistic voice with renowned coaches in Boston, San Francisco, and Montreal.

Over the last seven years, Myles has had the pleasure of performing in shows throughout the US as well as internationally. They’re often drawn to making work with a focus on LGBTQ+ narratives, grounded in both the rawly human and deeply fantastical. They love using momentum and gravity to punctuate and accentuate compelling stories, and aim for their work to center emotional authenticity and speak to those who need it most.

She had no idea that her childhood fandom of the circus, a little introduction to an adult aerial rec class, and a move to Seattle would forever change the course of her life in the best of ways. While Vivian continues nomadically as a freelance performer and instructor, you will still likely find her training and developing her aerial artistry at Emerald City Trapeze Arts.

Liza Myachina

With over a decade of experience in aerial arts and performance, Liza Myachina is an emotionally driven artist with a commanding presence on stage. Her journey to the circus world was sparked by watching a Cirque du Soleil show at the right time. Having recently quit rhythmic gymnastics, she was inspired to try a class at a local aerial studio. That was all it took to find herself a new passion and identity as a circus artist.

Over the years, Liza has trained under numerous accomplished coaches, including artists with direct ties to Cirque du Soleil, pushing their limits in aerial hoop, silks, contortion, and expressive movement. Their practice is rooted in technical precision and evocative storytelling, blending danger with beauty, and discipline with emotion.

As a performer, Liza has taken the stage in various shows and gigs. Her goal is more than just to entertain the audience, but to make them feel. Whether it’s awe, fear, or that breathless pause between moments, Liza’s performances aim to unsettle and awaken something within you.

Driven to inspire others, Liza continues to evolve as an artist, pushing past limits and expectations to create something unforgettable.
